Terms of Business

These terms govern your use of Timely. Please read them before subscribing.

Last updated: 14 July 2026

These Terms of Business (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Timely (“Timely”, “we”, “us”) governing your access to and use of the Timelydesktop application and this website (together, the “Service”). By downloading, installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Timely is a desktop application that generates paste-ready availability from your connected calendars using a keyboard shortcut, and provides a calendar quick-view. Availability is computed locally on your device. We may update, improve or change features of the Service over time.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your license key confidential and for all activity that occurs under your subscription.

3. Free trial

We offer a 7-day free trial so you can evaluate the Service. When the trial ends, you must subscribe to continue generating availability; if you don't, the relevant features simply stop working. We may change or withdraw trial offers at any time.

4. Subscriptions, billing & taxes

Paid access is sold as a recurring subscription, billed monthly or annually depending on the plan you choose. Current pricing is £5/month or £50/year ($7/month or $70/year), as shown at checkout.

Payments are processed by Polar, which acts as our merchant of record. Polar handles payment collection, invoicing and applicable sales tax/VAT. Your subscription renews automaticallyat the end of each billing period using your saved payment method, until cancelled. Prices may change; we'll give reasonable notice and any change applies from your next renewal.

5. Licence & activations

Subject to these Terms and an active subscription (or trial), we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Service for your own use. Your license key may be activated on a limited number of devices, as indicated at purchase. You must not share, resell, sublicense or publish your license key, or attempt to exceed or circumvent activation limits.

6. Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel at any time from the customer portal. When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period and then stops renewing; access ends at that point. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Polar as merchant of record — contact us and we'll help.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service unlawfully or in breach of any third party's rights;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent permitted by law;
  • circumvent licensing, activation limits or security measures;
  • resell, rent or otherwise commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.

8. Third-party services

The Service connects to third-party calendar providers (such as Microsoft and Google) and payment services (Polar). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and content, is owned by Timely and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a licence to use the Service, not ownership of it. You retain all rights to your own data.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated availability will always be complete or accurate — you are responsible for reviewing availability before sharing it.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Timely will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to us or others. On termination, your licence ends and you must stop using the Service.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we'll take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer laws provide otherwise.
